What is Trivista?
Trivista is a trivia game. Play a quiz on your own, host a game for a room, or send friends a challenge. It runs in any browser, with no install.
How do I play on my own?
On the home page, pick a category or type a topic. Each quiz has 10 questions with 20 seconds each. A right answer scores 100 points. A fast answer scores up to 50 more, and a run of right answers adds up to 50.
What is the daily five?
Every day, everyone gets the same 5 questions. You can play them once. A new set starts at midnight UTC. On each question, you can remove one wrong option. A right answer then scores 50 points less.
How do streaks work?
Finish the daily five on days in a row to build a streak. Miss a day and the streak starts again. Sign in to keep your streak on every device.
How do AI quizzes work?
Type any topic and choose Make it. An AI model writes the questions, and the first one shows in a few seconds. You can make 3 AI quizzes a day for free. Category quizzes and the daily five have no limit.
AI can make mistakes. If an answer looks wrong, report it.
Playing with others
How do I host a game?
Choose Host a game on a TV or laptop. Pick a category or a topic. The screen shows a room code and a QR code. When everyone is in, start the game. The screen shows each question and the scores.
How do I join with a code?
Open Trivista on your phone. Type the 5-letter code from the host's screen and choose Join. Or scan the QR code. You need no account.
How do challenges work?
Finish a quiz, then choose Challenge friends. Send the link. Friends play the same questions with the same timer, and the leaderboard shows every score. The link preview shows your score, but never the questions or answers.
Your account
Do I need an account?
No. When you first visit, you play as a guest. Sign in with your email to keep your games and streak on any device. We email you a code. Your guest games move to your account.
Are my website and app accounts the same?
Not yet. The iOS and Android apps use separate accounts. Games in the apps do not show on the website.
How do I report a wrong answer?
After you answer, choose Is this answer wrong? Report it. When enough signed-in players report a question, we hide it until we check it.
Where do the questions come from?
Category questions come from the Open Trivia Database. They are shared under CC BY-SA 4.0. AI models write the questions for topic quizzes, and draw the line art.
How do you use my data?
We use it to run the game and keep your scores. We do not sell it. Read the privacy policy for the details.
How do I delete my account?
On the website, go to Delete account. You can download your data there too. In the apps, open Settings, choose Support & Legal, then Delete Account.
